We are all familiar with this building obviously, but do we know what its original use was besides being an office building?

Answer:

It was a bank building, the building that took its name from the bank that occupied it. The bank was the Realty Trust Co. and the official name of the building was The Realty Trust Building.

towntalk the tellers booths were still there when the Bean Counter was open for business. i do not know if the tv station wytv ripped them out when they turned that into a television station.
