The Rescue Mission is in the process of raising funds to build a new facility so that they can retire the one they are currently in which is about 85 years old, in desperate need of repairs and too small for what they need. The new facility will be located at the former South Side Park.
Yesterday WFMJ News Anchor Derek Steyer did a multipart story on WFMJ's Facebook page by going through a day in the life of a person using the Mission, and I recommend that everyone view that series. Mr. Steyer did a super job doing that story and WFMJ should be very proud of him.
