Equipment for block watches

         Check with Lt. Rod Foley at YPD.  They have Vests, Engravers, whistles,etc. .  Some BWS have recieved cell phones for 911 use only. Most BWS buy CB's and use them while patroling, also they buy the yellow strobe lite for patroling.  Again check with Lt. Foley.

Can the city or any other organization supply a block with equipment?  I've heard that some block watches in other parts of the city have 2-way radios to use when they partol.  

What other equipment would a block watch need?
