Title: "Free Firewood"
Post by: Youngstownshrimp on August 11, 2010, 11:00:26 AM
We have literally 15' stacks of slab firewood, mostly wild cherry.  Those in need of heating fuel for the winter, we will help.  The firewood is located on the eastside, post your interest and we will make contact.

Is that your firewood on Thornhill?   Maybe I could use some in the Tod Engine building over the winter.  Then again there is all that firewood that a certain Drott 40 knocked down over the winter just rotting away!

Isn't slab lumber what remains after logs are run through a sawmill?
If the pile is 15' high, how long are the pieces of wood?  Is it already cut for use in a fireplace?

Jay, the slabs are not in length for firewood.

Rick, you are welcome to the fire wood, plenty more where it came from.
