towntalk i saw jay leno there as an opening act for paul anka. margret thatcher spoke there too several years ago. i met patricia oneil there too when they used this theater to premier the movie, A Remarkable Life.

I was working Powers Auditorium when Red Skelton performed here and when he did the Pledge routine, he got a long standing ovation. The auditorium was near SRO (Standing Room Only).

Powers had had a number of great one man shows ... Red Skelton ... Bill Cosby ... Paul Anka ... Willy Nelson.

Can anyone else recall any one man shows they saw at Powers?
