Good commentary on Dann. Lets all hope that he does well, because this could be a step toward a run for Governor in the future.

A.G. Dann's Victory is History Making!

Our new Attorney General Marc Dan may not yet be aware of how important his election victory is to the political power make-up of Ohio.   Defeating Betty Montgomery was the most important victory of this midterm election.  Betty Montgomery was the highest vote getting candidate of all political parties on Ohio.  And more importantly, she was viewed as unbeatable by anyone in the Republican Party due to shear Ballot Name ID.  The Republican Party feared Betty Montgomery on all levels of government and politics.

Marc Dann's victory not only seated him as our new Attorney General but it also made him the most Powerful Political Leader in Ohio.  It will take him a few months to realize this as a fact but he will come to accept this truth.  A.G. Dann's victory will amount to the castration of the Ohio Republican Party that may last for 10 years or better.

My only words of advice to A.G. Dann are those laced with caution.  And they are to; Run a very accountable Administrative Office, use the power of incumbency to increase your name ID and seek as many ethics and criminal political indictments as possible [for one year].  His actions alone will start a national trend that will be followed up on in congress.  One year [and one year only] of these activities will pave the way for a Democratic Party White House Victory in 2008 regardless of who the nominee is.
