What was Mill Creek like when Volney Rogers set out to create a park?

On my webshots site I've uploaded 20 photos of the park in its earliest days and will be uploading 15 more this evening.

These are the earliest pictures of the park and date back to 1904 when there was only one lake, Lake Cohasset.
