Wet Newspaper Delivered Today

A portion of my Vindicator was all wet today.  As a result, the pages were stuck together.

This is what I think happened.
The delivery person threw the paper from the car.  It hit the bare pavement and the plastic bag tore open on the corner.  The bag also slid into some snow.
The sun shining through the plastic bag melted some snow underneath.  The melted snow was absorbed by the paper sticking out of the torn corner of the plastic bag.
