Former Palko's Is For Sale

It's been a few months since I drove by it. While sitting at the traffic light at that time I felt like history stood still from the day after the building became empty (if it really ever was). I couldn't believe how long those pumps had been sitting there unused yet not vandalized.

Today I noticed workers erecting a large "For Sale" sign in front of the former Palko's Service Station on South Schenley.  The building has been empty for many years.
