Deer Hunting Question

I believe that deer hunt was in the wooded area of Mill Creek Park south of 224.  That area is outside the city.

Quote me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Mill Creek Park in the past opened the Park to deer hunting using bows and arrows to thin out the herd for a limited period of time when the deer population got too large?

I'm pretty sure that people are not allowed to use a gun to hunt deer in the city.
