The Living Nativity at Park Vista Retirement Community

A Holiday tradition will continue as Park Vista Retirement Community presents its annual Living Nativity.

For two evenings – Wednesday, Dec. 7 and Thursday, Dec. 8 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – volunteers will recreate the magic of the Nativity Scene on the front lawn of Park Vista Retirement Community, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown.

"Our Living Nativity is a wonderful event," said Rev. Alan Hutchison, Park Vista Resident Chaplain. "It is one way to keep our focus on Christ during the Christmas season and to say thank you to those in the community who have shown great support throughout the years for our ministry to older adults."

Depicting the Nativity Scene with live animals and volunteers is a regular tradition for the Retirement Community. This year the organization is partnering with the Mineral Ridge Presbyterian Church, the Tabernacle Baptist Church and Poland Seminary High School to bring the scene to life.
