I have had some dealings with Mike McGiffin and think he did an admirable job.

The city administration should have kept him on staff.

Michael McGiffin is leaving his city job to work fo Stambaugh Auditorium.

Plans are being made to replace the stone stairs on the Fifth Avenue side of the Auditorium.

One ongoing project that McGiffin will immediately address is the replacement of the massive stone staircase on the Fifth Avenue side of the building. "It's part of the appeal of the building," he said.
