My Mother worked at Daughtery Davis. She ran the candy department in the 1950's and early 1960's

When was that John?

My friend Fred Childress the Vindicator theater editor told me that Raver's when in the Tod Hotel use to have after the theater meet and greets for the show people appearing at the Palace and Park theaters.

Does anyone remember the Wickwood Restaurant on Wick near the Masonic Lodge. It was a fancy restaurant that served great dinners. My Grandparents took Mother and I there one time.

Ravers was also located at the corner of Phelps and Front St

Back when the steel mills were going full blast the bars and restraunts on the Square has cages inside their doors where workers could get their checks cashed, and on pay days they were busy all day.

Raver's was located in the Tod Hotel building.
