Each day I get up in the morning, make a pot of coffee, then sit down at my computer just waiting for that phone in my brain to ring.


"Are you free" the voice on the other end says?


And I'll reply: "I'm free."


All I hope is that when it's my turn, it will be while I'm asleep, it's quick, and it's peaceful.
