In The Spirit Of Christmas
(Four Christmas Plays)

Join us this Christmas season for a new edition of our annual favorite, In the Spirit of Christmas. This year the show consists of four short plays, most of which have never been seen in this area. Leading the list is The Long Christmas Dinner, the classic Christmas story by Thornton Wilder that follows ninety years of one family's Christmases.

This is followed by The Christmas Machine, by Don Zolidis. An evil huckster finds a town without Christmas and shamelessly sells them the holiday with all the commerciality and bills attached.

Next on the list is The Truth About Christmas, by Daniel M. Pearle, the story of a young girl who challenges the status quo of Christmas at an all-girls school. What results is bullying, isolation, and a burned Christmas tree.

The Elf Rebellion, by Don Zolidis, rounds out the four shows. Santa's elves have enough of being overworked, underpaid, and mistreated. They decide to go on strike. So the Big Guy hires Oompah Loompahs to break the strike. Finally, Santa and his elves come to realize the real meaning of Christmas and settle their differences in the Christmas spirit.
