It's Loose Rack Billiards, 3702 Mahoning Avenue.  The other day I saw a young man having a great time playing a card game on the electronic machine.

what about church bingo 

My mother and I used to go to Sharon on weekends and play bingo at the Sons Of Italy - loved it.
If we hit big, we would go to Seafood Express for Lobster, or Quaker Steak & Lube in downtown
Sharon to celebrate.

We never spent a lot of money on Bingo cards, and most nights we would break even at least.
They had some GREAT sausage sandwiches at the games.

I'm not a gambling man either - once in a blue moon I spend a couple dollars on the Maryland Lottery
but no more than that.  It would be fun to see the horses race once, just because I love horses - I rode
quite a few at my grandmother's farm in Lisbon as a kid.  Grandma had about 30 horses.

I went simply to see what all the hoopla was about since the Vindicator thinks this will save the valley like the blimp factory. I may in fact apply there for a job to support my meager income.

As far as TV shows go, I like Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, Bar Rescue, Mystery Diners, Criminal Minds, Family Guy( when I need a laugh), and movies on TCM.

That's OK my friend. What's your favorite shows ... I go for Pawn Stars, Antique Archeology, Storage Wars and all those other so-called reality shows.

i too thought bm was a poor lad without any hope in sight for a decent life before he will meet the saints. i am wrg. bm can you apply for a job there while you play there?

Did I say I went there and gambled? I did not. I simply went to walk through the building. Back in my younger years when I did have a somewhat decent job I did visit such places like Mountaineer and the Rivers in Pittsburgh. I haven't gambled in those places in years.

As far as the passes go, I'm really not an arts lover. Thanks for the offer, though. I just enjoy sitting at home watching TV.

Billy me lad,    I always thought that you were a pool old boy that couldn't afford the price of a pair of decent shoes much less  tickets to one of our theaters ... Youngstown Playhous, Oakland, Victoria Players, Powers, Stambaugh or Covelli, yet you have money to throw away on the slots.    Here I was thinkin' of puttin' together a care package so you could experience a night out at one of our theaters.    If'n youse can afford ta gamble aways yer dough away, den ya sure don't need the use of my season pass to DeYor or Stambaugh, so I'll just tuck 'em into an envelope an' ship them off ta my poor relitives back home so they don't have to go without.

I went to the new casino today. It is so small compared to Mountaineer, The Rivers, and The Meadows I was in complete shock. Food options are slim, restrooms small, and everything is so crammed in you feel like you're in a shoebox.

Any hotel owner along route 46 who thinks they'll have overnight guests flocking to this place they are clearly mistaken. If this casino lasts 5 years I will be amazed. Don't believe all the hoopla you read in the Vindicator. I'm surprised Penn National Gaming invested in the venture.
