The folks at the airport are considering renaming the airport in the hope of improving its image so what would you call it?
Airport trivia:
July 1, 1941 – First passangers fly out of the new Youngstown Municipal Airport.
July 1, 1941 – First passangers were Randall Sourbeck and daughter Joyce.
July 1, 1941 – First Airmail delivery arrives at the new airport.

Why not drop the name Youngtown from everything?
Jay... Did you even read the article?!
I would lean towards "regionalization" and call it the "Mahoning County Regional Airport".

Folks in Trumbull County would not like that. I mean the airport does lie in Vienna Township in the heart of Trumbull County.
I wholeheartedly support the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport.
Mahoning Valley Airport
I'd put this on their FB page but didn't see how without befriending them...... And I have too many "junk" friends already.
Funny.....That airport just west of us is doing pretty good business being
called Akron-Canton.......
Maybe we should just patronize Akron-Canton and leave Vienna to the C-130s. Isn't it green not to have duplication of services?
