a year ago jimmy hughes went on record through the vindy saying that the st. dom's area is not a bedrock of crimminal activity and this council and the this current mayor's adminstration did not rebuke this statement. a year latter two crime summits that was sponsored by the state atty general office to address this southside issue with the said groups in tow saying there is a MAJOR problem. penguins37 take that to the bank and deal with it.

Youngstown has had only four homicides so far this year.  Let's hope this component of the crime rate remains low for the balance of the year.
