Saw that article and I agree with you Jay. This city's priorities are in total disarray. SHAME ON EVERYONE AT CITY HALL INVOLVED IN THIS SCHEME.

There is an interesting story on the front page of the Sunday's local newspaper.  The story explains how Youngstown water and sewer fees are being used to fund development projects in downtown Youngstown.

Our neighborhoods continuously have broken water lines and our combined sewer system is the source of pollution to our streams and Mill Creek Park lakes.  Money generated by our water and sewer system should only be used to improve the existing infrastructure.

This redirection of money is similar to the sanitation fees being expanded to provide funds for demolition.
