Title: $10,000 To Purchase And Deliver Mulch

On Monday, July 30, City Council voted to spend $10,000 to purchase and deliver mulch to non-profit groups.

Was this a waste of money?

Our block watch contacted tree services and we get our mulch for FREE and have it delivered for FREE.

doesn't mill creek park give away mulch to mahoning county residents for free?

Why?

Yes, Mill Creek Park does give away mulch to Mahoning County residents, but our city council would rather pay for it.
