I noticed that the former Animal Charity building is being auctioned off on Wednesday, June 9.

Maybe the Seventh Ward Citizens' Coalition and SAANDI should join forces to buy the building.  The groups would add stability to the neighborhood and keep an eye on the seventh ward hot spot.
