It Begins Again

We were almost asleep when the wailing sirens woke us up.  Turned on the scanner and heard that 2 were shot near Pasedena and South Ave.  No details yet.

Although it's a good thing that zero tolerance began, how about officials have serious plans to HIRE more police officers using the Safety Forces tax that we passed (and were told repeatedly that the monies would go to Safety Forces only!)  The overtime money will be eaten up in no time and then what happens?
