Interesting enough that John A. McNally received more votes than this fat bum... People were against Oakhill, and they showed it tuesday!

We need to find a quality Republican to challenge Anthony...

ERIC C. UNGARO ran against the county's most powerful elected official... ANTHONY T. TRAFICANTI

The first thing to examine when you are deciding to run for a political office is to take a close look at the "Context" of the election. This means that you should not only focus on your opponent but also consider what other elected seats and issues will be on the ballot and how they can effect your campaign.  This can be a very detailed process but without it, you can stand to waste a ton of money and lose the election.

ANTHONY T. TRAFICANTI is well liked, well recognized and has very strong "Name ID" in Mahoning County.  Eric Ungaro would have had a greater chance of winning this election if he would have avoided any debates, forums or appearances with Anthony Traficanti.  This tactic would have ensured Mr. Ungaro's ability to take full advantage of his historic "Name ID" perception among the impartial voters, especially the older and more frequent voters.  Mr. Ungaro was not very well rehearsed during his appearances with Mr. Traficanti and dress rehearsals are very important when prepping for the campaign.

Mr. Ungaro should consider his run for election as an "Investment" that will help him in future elections [like the Youngstown Clerk of Court race], because he to has a strong local "Name ID" and he should be prepared to take full advantage of it.  Mr. Ungaro should start preparing for future elections right now.
