From an ACTION brochure

Action's Mission
Our mission is to build a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, interfaith organization of congregations and other organizations from across our region.  We strive to promote and be guided by the common values, cultural and spiritual traditions of our members, under democratic principles.  Our purpose as an organization is to develop strategies to reduce concentrated poverty, fight racism and inequities based upon where one lives, and other forms of discrimination and injustice.

I would like to know what ACTION is as well and what the group stands for.   If you could post that here or email me with that info at yministry101@aol.com  It would be greatly appreciated.

Jay,

What is the "ACTION" program all about?  Could you please tell us about it?

Thanks!
