Great to hear that it's all good news for West branch.  Can't wait to see designs and such.

Fourth Ward Councilman Mike Ray attended and so did Councilwoman-elect Lauren McNally.

Having this important meeting at an hour when people are still at work is wrong ... having a West Side issue held on the far South Side is equally wrong. IF the West Side library is not convient, the Library should have arranged for the meeting to be held at Chaney High auditorium.

Some people may want to take the WRTA bus to the meeting.

Three west side bus routes could take west side residents to the downtown bus station.
The Market Street bus leaves the downtown bus station every half hour.

I agree with the location issue.  The irony is there is not a handicap accessible

meeting room at the west side library.  Hopefully, that would be corrected in the

new design.  The other issue is allowing the donor naming rights.  It would be

great to have citizens there to support Heidi as she makes her presentation.

So, let's not have it local to the area where the patrons that it will effect would be able to come...unless they have transportation of their own.  They want no public input on this yet again.
