I was at the Sharon line discussing the sale of timber owned by a long time resident of the eastside and a disabled vietnam vet as well. He surprised me revealing that he owns 18 lots with matured timber to harvest. Yes logging is agriculture. The Veterans are the answer to repopulate YTown...and they are advancing.

I agree.... as a society, we owe our veterans a debt that we can NEVER fully repay.

The way we treat veterans in this country disgusts me....they deserve so much more.

It's that way everywhere anymore TT.  Veterans used to be respected, revered, almost worshipped.  Not too many years ago, we would never have seen homeless veterans sleeping beneath a bridge.
We never would have seen veterans without a place to live at all.

Now look at them. We as a country should be ashamed of ourselves.

This is the very thing that chafs my hide ... around here, it seems as if vets are second class citizens who are used, then thrown away like yesterday's trash, and only dragged out when the liberals need some PR.

I understand there was a Vet at YNDC, but he quit?

There was a reason why ever since the inception of the MVOC and YNDC, I have been a critique and opponent of both.  It went both ways as was written here in the past may times.  I couldn't put my thumb on it then but now it has been revealed to me by recent association with Veterans.  It is because Veterans see through socialism and extreme liberalism. Veterans know what production is and demote those who "buck" the system.

So it was of no surprise to me that when recently advancing Veteran Farmers interfaced with YNDC, the outcome was statements of  disrespect of pseudo farming and Fat salaries of their upper class. Maybe the YNDC should stick with cutting grass, where is their aquaculture, where is their deconstruction?
