Also, the councilmen know that the republican party basically doesn't exist in Youngstown anymore.

City council knows that the average citizen is too lazy to organize any opposition to them.  The next council election is in 2015.  They have two more years to ignore the wishes of any of the residents.

Note - The only organized attempt by citizens to change the city charter in recent years was the Community Bill of Rights issue last year.  I believe a citizens' victory would have led to additional attempts to fix city government in Youngstown.

The reason why we MUST get rid of ALL the current members of City Council and replace them with Councilmen who will recognize the fact that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS with emphasis on SERVANT, and NOT masters of the house.
