About the Mahoning Valley

Mahoning River Watershed

The Mahoning Valley is comprised of a group of communities in the Northeast Ohio & Western Pennsylvania area in the United States of America. The common bond is the Mahoning River. The wat ershed covers several counties.  The county seat of Mahoning County is Youngstown, Ohio and it  is a little over an hour's drive from both Cleveland and Pittsburgh on Interstate 80. Youngstown also happens to be midway between Chicago and New York City. This location makes it  ideal  for commerce. The county seat of Trumbull County is Warren, Ohio. It is about a 20 minute drive northwest from Youngstown.  Both cities offer the Mahoning Valley many wonderful attractions and business opportunities. The Youngstown Warrren Regional Airport is a 20 minute drive northward from  Downtown Youngstown.  Interstate and railway access are abundant in the valley.
