Holiday Art Exhibition

On FRIDAY, November 23, 2007, the Art Outreach Gallery in the Eastwood Mall in Niles, Ohio will kick off its Holiday Art Exhibition featuring artwork created by local youth and adult artists. The exhibition runs November 23 through January 13, 2008. The exhibition is made possible by the generous donations of the Warren Junior Women’s League/GFWC and the Eastwood Mall.
The professional gallery showcases work in various media such as
painting, photography, and sculpture as well as printmaking and graphic
design. Exhibiting artists are Mark Bush, Irene Capozzoli, Jonna
Clouder, Marie Dippolito, Mauro DiVesta, Karen Fry, Johanna George,
Judith Griffiths, Larry Griffiths, James Jeffery Higgins, Marainne
Hilke, Jocelyn Himes, Lisa Himes-Zalovcik, Kristie Hoard, Daniel Horne,
Patrick Hyland, Larry Kirk, David Mauerman, Tim Mrofchak, Tony
Nicholas, James O’Malley, Don Pedicini, Salem Reese, Justin Reese,
Chris Ross, Guy Shively, Peter Smith, Heidi Swift, Gail Trunick,
Jennifer Welshhans, Shirley Wolanzyk, and Kathy Young.
All professional artworks are for sale and respective artists receive
100% of proceeds. The Gallery simply puts artist and patron in direct
contact with each other.
The Youth Gallery is exhibiting art work by local young artists.
Students from the following schools are participating in the youth
exhibit:, Chalker High School, Southington Middle School, Southington
Elementary, McKinley Elementary Lisbon, Howland High School, Cortland
Elementary, Lakeview High School, Girard High School, Niles Middle
School, Warren Jefferson Middle School, T.E.A.C.H. Trumbull Educators
Association of Christian Homeschools, Notre Dame School, JFK Jr High,
Brookfield High School, and McDonald High School. The Gallery is also
featuring the Fairhaven Foundation Annual Calendar entries and winners.
Special thanks goes to Chris Ross for professionally hanging the
Holiday Art Exhibition. Chris has received his BFA from Youngstown
State University. Currently he is employed at the Akron Art Museum as a
Museum Technician.

The Gallery is located in the Eastwood Mall across from American Eagle
Outfitters, along the concourse between Macy’s and JC Penney’s. Hours
of operation will be Friday 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday 1:00pm to
9:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm. All exhibits are free and open to
the public.
